21st June is observed as International Yoga Day, in support to the P.M.'s initiative to popularise the benefit of Yoga across the world. In D.A.V. every year this day is observed with much grandeur and discipline.
Students are trained to perform intricate 'Asanas' and 'Pranayama' proving their physical agility and kinesthetics.
The school aims at the physical and mental well-being of every child who is admitted into the family of the D.A.V. Performing the yogasanas also makes the students to be in touch with the cultural heritage of our country, thereby also imbibing the spirit of nationality and oneness.
