Dr. S. Varadarajan — The Visionary Behind DAV School, Adambakkam
Dr. S. Varadarajan, Founder of DAV School, Adambakkam and a pioneer in the field of education, was born in Kanchipuram.
He began his schooling at a Higher Secondary School in Egmore, where his leadership qualities and innate sense of responsibility were evident from a young age.
Before venturing into education, Dr. Varadarajan served as Stores-in-Charge at Ashok Leyland Limited. His journey stands as a remarkable testament to dedication and perseverance. He worked night shifts continuously for 18 years, devoting his daytime hours to building and managing the DAV School.
Through his tireless efforts, vision and unwavering commitment, the DAV School, Adambakkam that he founded has today grown into a leading institution, achieving excellence across academics, arts and values-based education.
His life reflects his belief that education is not merely about acquiring knowledge, but about shaping character and nurturing values that sustain success.
